Michael Lebow, MD, is a fellowship-trained vascular surgeon who is board certified in both general and vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery. He currently sees patients at University Vascular in Gainesville, Georgia.
Dr. Lebow earned his undergraduate degree at Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, and his medical degree at the University of Virginia School of Medicine in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Lebow completed his general surgery residency at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans, followed by his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Dr. Lebow served as an Airborne Infantryman in the United States Army’s 82nd Airborne Division and served for one year with the United Nations Command in Panmunjom, Korea.
He is a member of the Southern Association of Vascular Surgery and the Medical Association of Georgia. He has published multiple articles regarding vascular and endovascular surgery and has spoken at national meetings on both arterial and venous diseases. Dr. Lebow is certified in Wound Care and Hyperbaric medicine and has particular interest in treating lower extremity vascular disease causing nonhealing wounds and preventing the need for amputations.
